We celebrated Amina’s second birthday super simple at home, just us and cake. Amina is the definition of a COVID child, she’s never had a big shindig for her birthdays in all her two years. Well, this year she did have one request: “a ballerina birthday”. And that is exactly what she got. We didn’t have a proper party, just some decorations, cake and small gifts! And she was so happy with it, it was all well worth it.
I used everything I already had, literally. The decorations were a combination of princess party decor and eid plates. The single item I purchased for decor was a tutu banner, for picture’s sake!
When Amina saw her Ballerina cake, she was so so excited! It really was a beautifully decorated cake, thanks to Sehar at Glazin Sweets.
I hope Amina can always be this decisive when it comes to planning out her birthday parties!
