When I’m entertaining guests, I like to come up with simple homemade appetizers that I could make and serve..nothing too fancy, just something that’s fresh and tasty for my guests to snack on. Here’s a super easy crowd-pleaser, with very few ingredients. Hope you try it!
Ingredients
Pesto *
Cream Cheese
Sun dried Tomatoes
1 can Pillsbury crescents dough
*I use Trader Joe’s Kale Pesto, but any store-bought or homemade pesto is fine.
Directions:
- Preheat oven 350F. Roll out the crescent dough after dusting flat surface with flour. Roll it out and then use pizza cutter to cut (9) squares. (I can’t measure but you can look at the photo.)
- Spread pesto first, then sprinkle a few pieces of sundried tomato, and one dollop of cream cheese.
- Fold over each corner to the middle and twist. You can really make any shape you like, but this pocket will avoid any spillage.
- Bake for about 10-12 min, keep watching until golden brown. Serve warm.
