I always wanted to participate in a challenge, so here we go with this fun one where I choose five of my favorite things, take a photo of them and share why I love each one. And then I’ll nominate three other bloggers to do the same. Found this one at What My Fridge Says and you can read about her five favs here, but it began on Mumzilla here. So let’s dive in to five of my favorite things…
My Porch
I absolutely love my porch. I love the wicker conversation sofa set that fits so snug, and the table where I can put decoration pieces for every season. The porch has the best view of my beautiful garden of lush flowers, that just makes me so happy to look at them everyday. But most of all, I love spending time sitting on the porch with my girls, because we have the best conversations there.
My Two Hearts Pendant
My parents-in-law gifted me a beautiful pendant with two hearts, engraved with the names of each of my daughters. Two pieces of my heart. It’s a gift I will cherish forever, I wear it everyday.
Milka Choco Biscuit
You can’t compile a list of five of your favorite things without chocolate! Current obsession is the Milka choco bar, because it is everything I crave in a chocolate bar: decadent chocolate, creamy white filling and cookie. The only thing that could make it better is peanut butter. I’ve not come across this particular bar here in any stores, they usually get imported and therefore quite costly. So I ask my in-laws to bring them for me when they fly from Saudi Arabia. Maybe it’s the fact that it’s not so readily available and it’s expensive, it just makes me crave it even more.
Kate Spade Tote
I’m one of those people who despises carrying around an oversized, heavy baby bag. On top of my 20 lb baby, I dread carrying the extra weight of a baby bag, but I can’t exactly leave the house without it. I can’t wait to go back to carrying around a normal bag, in this case my beautiful Kate Spade tote that I picked out for my birthday last year. I love nude, and I love bows, and this bag has got both. Isn’t it pretty?
Floral Vintage Mug
Surprise, surprise..I’m not a coffee/tea drinker. I never got into the habit of drinking it everyday because quite frankly I am too lazy to make it for myself everyday. Putting the water on, watching it boil, and then turning around only to find that it’s spilled over, then scrubbing that pot clean and repeat– too much work. However, when I do crave a nice hot cup of coffee/latte/hot cocoa, I like to use this lovely vintage mug that was a gift from my best friend’s bridal shower. And accompanied with my favorite donut: sour cream from DD [Try it, trust me], it’s heaven. Of course that is if I get a quiet moment to enjoy these things without any toddlers interruptions.
What are some of your favorite things? It’s a fun challenge, try it!
I nominate the following bloggers for the Five Favorites Challenge…
